We get to see a furiously emotional, strong, and almost villainous side of Wanda Maximoff, who is a pretty badass character in the entire Avengers gang. Elizabeth Olsen is the perfect actor for the role of Maximoff. Rachel McAdams pick her role as Stephen’s former lover and Xochitl Gomez makes her wonderful debut in the MCU with this film.

The story follows a neurosurgeon and Master of Mystic Arts, Dr. Stephen Strange who keep things swirling with his subconscious portraits and nightmares.

This time it is a perilous dream where Strange sees himself and a teenager America Chavez (played by Xochitl Gomez) hunted by a formidable demon as they sprint to get the Book of Vishanati before the demon does.

As it is a sequel to Dr Strange (2016), he wakes up and attends the wedding of his ex-lover, Christine Palmer, possibly regretting the choice he made at the end of the first film.

It is in this event that strange things begin to happen and the monster from the dream is on his way to destroy America. Dr Strange, along with his Sorcerer Supreme Wong, prepares to save America.

Dr Strange meets Wanda to ask for help and all hell breaks loose as we see another version of Wanda possessed by the Demon and standing against Dr Strange. Wanda accepts her essence as the Scarlet Witch and has one and only one motive- to reunite with her children.

The director Sam Raimi returns to the Marvel Universe but marks his debut in the MCU.

As the film is concentrated on Multiverse, a concept reiterated several times in the MCU recently in the Loki web series, Spiderman: No way Home, and Avengers Infinity War and Endgame.

The movie swings from the universe to the universe and Raimi adds the essence from his Spiderman movies featuring Toby Maguire.

MCU movies always have elements of surprise waiting for you and this movie somewhat lacks on that front.

Nevertheless, just like every other movie, The Multiverse of the Madness will be successful to keep you hooked for its 126 minutes of running time delivering a mesmerizing and convoluting story augmenting numerous aspects into one as Raimi is known for.
