Poetry is something which is appealing to many and understanding this, the makers of the films do not miss adding some artistic pieces of poetry to enhance the beauty of their music and storyline. The inclusion of poetry makes the movie enter the viewers’ souls.
Today, TSA has brought some of the heartwarming poetic pieces present in some of the most impactful movies of Bollywood. They are not just euphonious but provide food for thought as well.
1. “Jhelum bhi main” from Haider.
This movie does not only engulf an agreeable adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, or a political spectrum but also features some of the most appetizing dialogues of all time. One of them is this rhyimng verse.
Darya bhi main,Darakht bhi main.
Jhelum bhi main,
Chinar bhi main.
Dair bhi hoon,
Haram bhi hoon.
Shia bhi hoon,
Sunni bhi hoon,
Main hoon pandit.

This beautifully crafted dialogue in the form of a poem with all its intricacies wholesomely relates with its speaker Roohdar, played by the most iconic, late Irfan Khan, and hence it has to be on this list.

2. “Qaidi Number 786” from Veer Zara
Veer Zara is sure to give life goals to the couples. With its theme, characters, locations, it is already one of the most wonderful productions by Yash Raj. Each of its songs has meaningful lyrics. But among those wonderful songs, what won our hearts fully is the poem “Qaidi Number 786”.
Main qaidi number saat sau chiyasi
Jail ki salaakhon se bahar dekhta hoon
Din mahine saalon ko yug mein badalte dekhta hoon.
Is mitti se mere bauji ke kheton ki khusboo aati hai.
Yeh dhoop meri matti ki thandi chaach yaad dilati hai.
Yeh baarish mere saawan ke jhoolon ko sang sang laati hai.
Yeh sardi meri lohri ki aag sek kar jaati hai.
Woh kehte hain yeh mera des nahin
Phir kyon mere des jaisa lagta hai?

During the climax, Shahrukh Khan just won our hearts for the umpteenth time when he recited this poem. Each one of the viewers could empathize with him and his words. This poem surely gave us a unique aspect to meditate.
3. “Kabhi Kabhi” from Kabhi Kabhi
The movie “Kabhi Kabhi” has a reverent place in the hearts of people who love. It changed the way people romanced. With a profound rhythm as the mountainous voice of Amitabh Bachchan sounds, the evergreen poem from the movie is here.

Ki zindagi teri zulfon ki narm chhaon main guzarne pati
To shadab ho bhi sakti thi.

4. “Zinda Ho Tum” from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
