We’re all a little fascinated with reality television, whether we want to admit it or not. We’re here for it all, whether it’s a heart-stopping real crime documentary or every dramatic episode of The Real Housewives.
While we recognize that there are a plethora of streaming services available at the moment, we believe that Hayu is deserving of a spot in your lineup.
You can say goodbye to spoilers forever now that the new episodes are released on the same day as the US.
Table of Contents
1. Million Dollar Listing
This show has all of the characteristics of our favorite type of reality television: drama with a healthy dose of property porn.
With two series set in both Los Angeles and New York, there are plenty of episodes to see this week—18 to be exact. The agents in this show are equally as extravagant as the residences, so you know you’re in for a treat.
We’re talking $50 million penthouses, in-pool theatres (yes, really), walk-in closets the size of a small apartment, famous clients, and backroom dealings. Yes, it’s quite juicy.
2. Below Deck
If you’ve always wanted to visit Croatia but haven’t been able to due to COVID-19, you’ll want to book this gem right immediately.
The show is set aboard a luxurious superyacht and chronicles the lives, turmoil, and antics of the staff as well as the insane millionaires who vacation there.
If you’ve never heard of this show before, you’re in luck because there are several seasons available, giving you a large backlog of episodes to watch.
Expect plenty of LOLs and ‘oh my goodness did that just happen?’ moments with a cast of colorful people from South Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia.
3. The Only Way is Essex
For over a decade, this cult classic reality show has spawned catfights, brawls, marriages, babies, and a whole lot of drama.
To commemorate the occasion, Hayu has released the three seasons (and, in our opinion, the greatest) of the show, giving you plenty of opportunities to binge.
If you’re unfamiliar with TOWIE, it’s a British reality show that follows the antics of a group of Prema-tanned young men and women from the town of Essex.
It’s a little absurd and addictive, which is why it’s one of Hayu’s best shows.
4. Snapped
The documentary Snapped is based on genuine events. Non-fiction stories about persons who have committed or attempted murder, or who have been accused of committing or attempting murder, are featured in this series.
Frequently, the individual’s spouse is the target. To date, the show has aired 30 seasons. True crime intrigues individuals no matter where they are in the world.
5. Keeping Up With The Kardashians
While there are a few streaming services that have Keeping Up With the Kardashians episodes, Hayu is the only one that offers all 20 seasons.
So you can relive all of the turmoil, weddings (and divorces), and spectacular overseas vacations that reality TV’s first family has enjoyed over the years.
6. Top Chef
We adore food, so any show that celebrates it is a winner. Padma Lakshmi and chef Tom Colicchio host this Emmy-winning series at the top of our binge list.
The premise is simple: professional chefs from all across the United States compete in the kitchen to be proclaimed the ultimate “top chef.”
What we love about this show is that all contestants are already successful in their own right, so the dishes they prepare are drool-worthy masterpieces.
For this one big Hayu concert, you’ll want to keep the goodies nearby.
