Every show below was listed on Netflix India in early October 2026. Netflix’s French catalogue moves often, so a quick search in the app before you start is a good idea.

1. Lupin (2021)

Omar Sy plays Assane Diop, a gentleman thief who models himself on Arsène Lupin, the hero of Maurice Leblanc’s novels. He sets out to avenge his father, who was framed by a rich, powerful family. The show was created by George Kay and François Uzan.

Part 1 and Part 2 came out in 2021 and Part 3 in October 2023. Netflix has set Part 4, with eight episodes, for October 2026, so this is the right time to catch up.

2. Fiasco (2024)

Pierre Niney plays Raphaël Valande, a first-time director making a film about his grandmother, a Resistance fighter. Someone on set keeps sabotaging the shoot, and a documentary crew records every disaster.

It is a limited series of seven episodes, directed by Igor Gotesman, with François Civil in the cast. Fans of The Office-style cringe comedy will enjoy it.

3. Tapie (2023)

Laurent Lafitte plays Bernard Tapie, a working-class man who became a singer, businessman, owner of football club Olympique de Marseille and government minister, before scandal brought him down. The seven-episode miniseries is a fictionalised biopic.

Lafitte’s performance carries the show. It is a good pick if you liked biographical dramas like Scam 1992.

4. Furies (2024)

Lina El Arabi plays Lyna, a young woman pulled into the Paris underworld after her father is killed. She is trained by a mysterious figure known as a “Fury”, played by Marina Foïs, who keeps order among the city’s criminal bosses.

The series has two seasons and is packed with fight scenes. Mathieu Kassovitz also stars.

5. Ganglands (2021)

Ganglands, known in French as Braqueurs, is a Belgian-French crime series directed by Julien Leclercq. Sami Bouajila plays Mehdi, a veteran robber who has to protect his niece Liana after a heist goes wrong and a drug gang comes after them.

It has two seasons of six episodes each. The action is tight and the episodes are short, which makes it an easy binge.

6. Family Business (2019)

Joseph hears that France is about to legalise cannabis and decides to turn his father’s kosher butcher shop into the country’s first cannabis coffee shop. The family’s scheme gets messier with each season.

It ran for three seasons of six episodes each and was directed by Igor Gotesman, who later made Fiasco.

7. The Hook Up Plan (2018)

Known as Plan Coeur in French, this romantic comedy begins when Elsa’s friends secretly hire a male escort to help her get over her ex. Of course, she starts falling for him.

It ran for three seasons, with Zita Hanrot in the lead as Elsa.

8. Osmosis (2019)

Siblings Paul and Esther build Osmosis, an app that uses an implant to find your true soulmate. As beta testers sign up, the project raises hard questions about privacy, data and free will.

It was one of Netflix’s earliest French originals and was cancelled after one season of ten episodes. The idea feels even more current in the age of dating apps and AI.

9. Standing Up (2022)

Called Drôle in French, Standing Up follows four young stand-up comics in Paris trying to make a living from comedy. It was created by Fanny Herrero, the showrunner of Call My Agent.

It ran for one season. If you miss Call My Agent’s humour, this is the closest thing on Netflix India right now.

10. Nailed It! France (2019)

The French version of Netflix’s baking show, called C’est du gâteau!, puts amateur bakers in front of elaborate cakes they have to recreate. The results are usually a glorious mess. It is light viewing for a lazy evening.

Shows no longer on Netflix India

Our earlier list included Call My Agent, The Chalet, The Mantis, Mythomaniac, Twice Upon a Time and The Bonfire of Destiny. We could not find any of them on Netflix India in October 2026, so we have taken them off. For more streaming picks, see our series section and our listicles.
