Fawad Khan has revealed that he would play Ms. Marvel in Marvel Studios’ forthcoming Disney+ series. The actor clarified whether or not he will feature in the Marvel series during an interview with Film Companion, which was published by The Daily Star. The Pakistani actor has stated that he would feature in the new Disney series Ms. Marvel. While he didn’t reveal much about his character, he did say that filming for the program was a lot of fun.’Khan has confirmed his presence on the series, however, he hasn’t spoken anything about his role. He said, “Yes, I am.”
“I can’t refute it or lie about it since they have put out the news themselves,” the actor told Film Companion via The Daily Star. He refused to provide any details about his confirmed role but did admit to having a good time on set with his co-stars. The Kapoor and Sons star described the experience as “excellent fun” and claimed he had a fantastic time with the actors and crew. “It was a great joy working with the actors and crew, but I’m afraid I can’t say any more than that at this moment.”
Ms. Marvel is a Marvel forthcoming series that follows the lives of Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American adolescent from Jersey City who is a fan of the Avengers. Especially Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. She eventually gains her own superpowers, including superhuman strength, speed, and shape-shifting skills.
Fawad was questioned if he was a part of Ms. Marvel in an interview with Film Companion. “I am,” says the narrator. He added, “Woh toh main deny nahi kar sakta, ab toh main jhooth nahi bol sakta, woh toh unhone khud news laga di hai.”
Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha star alongside Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan.
Farhan Akhtar’s name has also been linked to the project, but when asked to confirm the rumors, he provided a cryptic response. He told Eastern Eye, “Well, I’ve read it too, that’s all I can say.”
Ms. Marvel will launch on Disney+ in the summer of 2022, as part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bisha K Ali is the show’s creator.
