It is an official remake of the 2016 Malayalam film Oppam. The film released in theatres on 11 September 2026, so this is its streaming debut.

The Institute Season 2 (Prime Video, 8 November)

The Stephen King adaptation returns with Alfie Allen as Nolan Reeves. The psychic children held by a secret organisation now push to bring down its remaining facilities.

For kids and families

Minions & Monsters arrives on JioHotstar on 2 November in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and Netflix adds the holiday film A Dog’s Perfect Christmas on 4 November. Both are easy picks for a family evening during the Diwali break.

What to watch first

For a festive family watch, start with Dilwali Diwali. If you missed Haiwaan in theatres, it is the big Hindi title of the week. Fans of spy drama should not skip Black Doves. Release dates are based on platform and trade listings and can shift, so check the app on the day. JioHotstar viewers can also catch the fourth episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9 on 4 November, and the Ramayana release in theatres on 5 November means the big-screen option is busy too.
