“A blue-tinted face exploring a land, adventure afoot and mouse in hand. Surrendered to sleep but wanting more; something to wake up for. Nowadays a thousand games, but none can make me feel the same.”
You know the drill – we’re all doing our part, from social distancing to self-isolation, to prevent the spread of coronavirus. We’re all looking for ways to stay busy. Well, wait no further, because I’ve dug up 10 video games from your childhood to play.
1. GTA Vice City
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has the best story in the series’ history. It is all nostalgia for the good old times, you know. It’s a game one can still enjoy in 2017 and it shares this incredible accolade with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
2. Spiderman 2
Greatest Spider-Man game ever. Bruce Campbell is your guide/ narrator. The first one to introduce dynamic swinging. Just a must-play for any Spider-man fan.
3. Max Payne
Definitely the best game ever. The plot is just brilliant, even better than most movies. One can really care about the title character, Max Payne, and be moved by the story. Outstanding graphics, awesome gameplay generates a new style and new genre. I played this game so many times, I could play any level with my eyes closed and don’t get hurt a bit, and I still enjoy it better than any other action game
4. Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Play it and you will never forget it. it is mind-blowing absolutely amazing and you can play it again and again absolutely the best need for speed story I wish I could play right now. And some of the best songs are in the game we will never forget.
5. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
One of my best games from the classics I mean this game packs a rich and fun storyline unlike most high-end games today. I love this game from the vibrant location to the cool soundtracks and challenging gameplay it gives you nostalgic feelings when thinking of the game really wish they would do a remake of something.
6. Freedom Fighters
Freedom Fighters is an entertaining and memorable adventure that has been well constructed and developed by IO Interactive, this is why I really recommend this game to any average gamer as it’s a must-play.
7. Tekken3
Tekken 3 continues the trend of the first to games with sweet characters, and awesome graphics and gameplay. There are tons of secret characters, and a few secret modes. This is my favourite fighting game for PSX, and I bet that most other fighting games fans will enjoy it a ton as well. If fighting games are your thing, you’ll love Tekken 3.
8. Age of Empires
Age of Empires was an interesting PC game. To conquer your enemies you needed to know exactly what you were doing, and the best method would be to set up the right amount of defence and attacking specialists, along with a useful collection of structures.
9. Road Rash
Road Rash, the most aggressive motorcycle racing game ever, explodes on your Windows 95 PC with hard-hitting, full-throttle action that’ll bring you to your freshly skinned knees. Dodge traffic, outrace cops and thrash pedestrians on your way to winning the Cup and becoming the menace to society your mother always worried about.
10. Hitman: Blood Money
Still has mechanics that modern games can’t reproduce. Replayability beyond imagine, and completion screens that keep you playing with stats like body count, level of violence, and whether or not any casings where found, etc. Hitman: Blood Money > All other Hitman.
