The comedies today as on big screens are not often classified as sticking true to the themes. They are at times aberrant from the very purpose. The newer ones are arrant nonsense with gratuitous innuendos and filthy prejudices.

The movies listed above at the very least distinguish with flying colours the nuances and subtleties of a good comedy. The cinema no doubt has ameliorated and aggrandized in every aspect but with the reasons which are ostensible old is most of times gold.
