See the following list of the top-rated tourist attractions in Goa for more ideas on how to arrange your trip to India.

1. Cola Beach

The fine golden sand beaches at Cola Beach (also known as Khola Beach) are strewn with big volcanic stones and set against a backdrop of steep forested hills. The beach is normally swimmable and has a relaxing ambiance. Please keep in mind that the beach’s depth can alter at any time.

It’s a must to stay in Cola Beach for the sunset. Goa is known for its beautiful sunsets, but the environment of Cola Beach and the reflection of the colors off the sand and flat streams make it more spectacular. You can relax by the neighboring river and watch the spectacular sunset over the beach.

2. Mae De Deus Church

The Church of Mae De Deus is one of the most beautiful churches in Saligao, Bardez. The Neo-Gothic building style of the iconic church is nestled within picture beautiful settings of Goa’s countryside. This iconic Goa church is notable for housing the miraculous Mae de Deus (Mother of God) figure that was transported from the remains of the Mae de Deus convent in Old Goa.

The gothic style spires are one of the many attractions of this cathedral in Goa. The Church of Mae De Deus, all lit up in the evening, is quite a sight to witness in Goa.

3. Butterfly Beach

Butterfly Beach, located north of Palolem Beach in south Goa, is a great place to spend your holiday. Enjoy your seclusion, away from the rest of the world, while simultaneously taking in the amazing aquatic life that can be found right in front of the beach.

Because this gorgeous and semi-circled beach is not accessible by any other means, you must take a ferry from Palolem or Agonda beaches. You can also take a ship ride for a more extensive and punctuated experience. If you become too excited, you can go for a hike through the dense forest that surrounds the shore.

4. Rivona Caves

Rivona caverns, also known as Pandava caves, are located in a small settlement in South Goa. These caverns are thought to have been built by Buddhist monks in the 6th century. Rivona Caves, a part of Goa’s historical tour, are one of the state’s most popular tourist destinations.

The Rivona caves, one of the best instances of Buddhist influence in Goa, have laterite engravings throughout their structure. The carving in the shape of Pitha, which is intended to be the teacher’s seat, is enthralling. A 16th century stepping well, right at the entrance to the Rivona caves, has an idol of Hindu God Hanuman.

5. Cabo De Rama Fort

Drive to the far south of Goa, down a muddy off-road road to the sea’s edge, and prepare to see the splendour of the past – the Cabo de Rama fort. The fort is situated between Cavelossim and Agonda, two of South Goa’s most popular beaches.

Both Hindu and Portuguese monarchs were involved in the construction of this fort. As a result, you will have the opportunity to learn about the architectural marvels of many

nations.

The Portuguese monarchs erected a gleaming white church here, and you can attend an annual feast there. As a result, when you arrive at this historical landmark, you will undoubtedly gain a wealth of knowledge about all that the fort has seen in the past.

6. Heart Shaped Lagoon

Drive all the way down to the end of the road, past the Bogmalo beach turnoff. The lagoon is a true off-the-beaten-path find. You’ll come to a fork in the road where you can choose to travel up or down a path, much as in any suspense novel with forked roads.

The water is blue and crystalline, and you can see fish swimming around if you put your face close to the mirror-like surface.

Whether you’re wearing swimwear or not, you should go for a swim in this pool, which isn’t too deep and feels great on your skin. The raging waves slam against the rocky beach ceaselessly, allowing you to relax in silence while listening to the ocean roar.

7. Buddha Goa

The Buddha Statue is located in southern Goa, therefore if you’re coming from Margao through Kepem Road, take the road up to Gudi, Sao Jose De Areal. If you enjoy hiking, climbing, or just want to get a beautiful aerial perspective of the towns, here is the place to go. The white Buddha statue, on the other hand, is set at a very high altitude on top of a massive boulder that is a little messy. More crucially, the area has been well-barricaded as a precaution.

Despite the fact that the area appears to be new, a large number of people have previously visited it. as it appears that there is still a lot of work to be done
