Old Ad Jingles We Can't Get Out Of Our Heads

We have grown up in India dancing to popular Bollywood songs. Not only do we do well in Antakshari by singing Hindi songs, but Bollywood music is also ingrained in our daily life. We can’t seem to get out of them since they have such an influence!

But it’s not just Bollywood that creates catchy, melodious sounds. To give credit where credit is due, the advertising industry has also produced some very unique tracks. And some of these will undoubtedly find their way into our playlists.

We’ve all enjoyed these tunes since they originally aired on TV, whether it’s Airtel’s signature melody or Vodafone’s You and I. Aren’t our favorite commercial Ad jingles still fresh in our minds?

Table of Contents

  • 1. Har Ek Friend Zaruri Hota Hai
  • 2. Googly Woogly Woosh
  • 3. Hum Mein Hai Hero
  • 4. You And I In This Beautiful World
  • 5. Paas Aao
  • 6. Vicco Turmeric
  • 7. Nirma
  • 8. Idea – Honey Bunny
  • 9. Airtel – Jo Tera Hai Wo Mera Hai
  • 10. Happydent Chewing Gum

1. Har Ek Friend Zaruri Hota Hai

Airtel created a friendship anthem for all of us by presenting the social life of today’s kids during their college years.

2. Googly Woogly Woosh

Ponds created a slew of adverts featuring the Googly Woogly Woosh song, each with its own cute motif.

3. Hum Mein Hai Hero

Hero embarked on a change by separating from Hero Honda, and they enlisted the help of AR Rahman to do so. To say the least, it’s a motivational tune.

4. You And I In This Beautiful World

You and I, in this wonderful world, isn’t it enough for the lyrics to take us to a realm of bliss?

5. Paas Aao

This is a popular sentence from the Close Up ad, and it’s a popular ad. Close Up was a popular toothpaste brand, and the melody was always stuck in our heads.

6. Vicco Turmeric

It is the oldest known jingle. It is still shown at some theatres before the start of the film. It’s impossible not to sing along because it’s so catchy and enjoyable.

7. Nirma

Whether you liked it or not, this melody played in your head (on repeat) every time you went to the store to buy detergent.

8. Idea – Honey Bunny

Because Idea has joined the Vodafone army, we had almost forgotten about this commercial and others (maybe). We couldn’t ignore it totally, so we decided to remind everyone about it.

9. Airtel – Jo Tera Hai Wo Mera Hai

Another well-known friendship beat. This one has a special place in our hearts. Right?

10. Happydent Chewing Gum

This commercial had the feel of a movie musical. The music was really catchy, and the lyrics were unforgettable. You’ll remember every word and tap your leg if we play this jingle again.
