The best Pakistani dramas to watch in 2026 include Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, Ishq Murshid, Jaan e Jahan, Shiddat, Kuch Ankahi, Tere Bin, Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, Parizaad and Mere Humsafar. Note for Indian viewers: the official HUM TV, ARY Digital and Geo YouTube channels have been blocked in India since May 2025.
Can you watch Pakistani dramas in India in 2026?
This is the biggest change since we first published this list in July 2024. Back then, almost every popular Pakistani drama was free to watch on YouTube in India.
After the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025, the YouTube channels of HUM TV, ARY Digital and Geo Entertainment became unavailable to Indian users, showing a message that cited a government order on national security. Dawn Images and Siasat reported the block, and older dramas on these channels remain inaccessible in India. Viewers outside India can still watch them free on the channels’ official YouTube pages.

9 best Pakistani dramas to watch
1. Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum (2024)
This ARY Digital drama, written by Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Badar Mehmood, aired from July to November 2024. Sharjeena (Hania Aamir) is dumped by her fiancé, and to save both families’ honour she marries his younger brother Mustafa (Fahad Mustafa), a carefree dropout. Their marriage slowly turns into love.
It is the newest addition to this list and the biggest hit. Its finale drew a TRP of 24.2, the highest in Pakistan since 2021, and was screened in cinemas. It also marked Fahad Mustafa’s return to TV after ten years.
2. Ishq Murshid (2023-24)
Bilal Abbas Khan plays Shahmeer, a wealthy man who hides his identity and poses as an ordinary man to win over the strong-willed Shibra (Durefishan Saleem). The HUM TV drama ran from October 2023 to May 2024, and its final episode was released in cinemas. The romance is the draw, though the pace slips towards the end.
3. Jaan e Jahan (2024)
Ayeza Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi play lovers separated by class differences, misunderstandings and jealousy. For many fans, the reason to watch was Hamza Ali Abbasi’s return to acting after a long gap. Expect a slow-burn romance with plenty of family drama.
4. Shiddat (2024)
Muneeb Butt and Anmol Baloch lead this drama about a relationship turning controlling and manipulative. It is darker than most romances on this list, and it works because the show treats the toxic behaviour as a problem, not as romance.

5. Kuch Ankahi (2023)
Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas Khan headline this ARY Digital drama, which is lighter on its feet than most. It tackles real issues, including women’s independence, domestic abuse and abandonment, without turning preachy. The family of sisters at its centre feels lived-in.
6. Tere Bin (2022-23)
The Geo Entertainment drama about Meerab (Yumna Zaidi) and Murtasim (Wahaj Ali) was a massive hit on YouTube, including in India. The chemistry and the title song are why people watched. Some of the relationship dynamics have been criticised as toxic, and that criticism is fair.
7. Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha (2022-23)
Hania Aamir plays Maheer, caught in a love triangle between Saad and Areeb, with Wahaj Ali as Saad. The ARY Digital show’s premise can feel stretched, but its emotional scenes and Wahaj Ali’s performance kept viewers hooked.
8. Parizaad (2021)
Based on Hashim Nadeem’s novel, this HUM TV drama follows Parizaad (Ahmed Ali Akbar), a dark-skinned man who is mocked all his life. He finds money and success, but love keeps slipping away. It is part social commentary, part personal journey, and Ahmed Ali Akbar’s performance is excellent.
9. Mere Humsafar (2022)
Farhan Saeed and Hania Aamir star in this ARY Digital romance about Hala, a young woman mistreated by her relatives, and the man who stands by her. The story gets exaggerated at times, but the lead pair’s chemistry carries it.
Why Pakistani dramas found an Indian audience
Pakistani dramas are short by Indian TV standards, usually 25 to 40 episodes with a clear ending. The writing focuses on family, class and relationships, and many fans liked that they do not stretch for years. Stars like Hania Aamir, Wahaj Ali and Fawad Khan built big Indian followings this way.
