Believers or atheists, we believe in the supremacy of these songs. Don’t We?
Table of Contents
1. Ae Maalik Tere Bande Hum
There’s a statement in the book that says a man is exceedingly weak and has many flaws.
But, oh god, you’re standing there, and you’re filled with compassion. Your mercy is the glue that holds the world together.
2. Shirdi Wale Saibaba
Shirdi Wale Saibaba is a favourite with beggars all over the country, and it stars Nirupa Roy as a blind mother who regains her sight thanks to Saibaba’s kindness.
It’s no surprise that Shirdi attracts so many devotees every day.
3. Piya Haji Ali
Haji Ali, like Shirdi, attracts pilgrims of all faiths on a daily basis, and its lovely setting by the sea makes it one of my favourite places to make a wish.
4. O Paalan Hare
This is another song that should be played when there isn’t much hope left, and it’s one of my favourites.
My favourite words are when Bhuvan prays to God to give courage to the bereaved so that they will never lose hope.
5. Kun Faya Kun
This is a Sufi song by Rockstar that we enjoy listening to on repeat. After all, when you have no one else on your side, God is there to help you.
6. Tu Kuja Man Kuja
What a lovely tune. Just listen to this music if you wish to find inner calm. Both lyrics and music will calm your heart.
7. Arziyan
Another song that simply conveys the power of making an ‘arzi,’ or prayer to the Almighty.
The song starts with Arziyaan sari mein chehre pe likh ke laaya hoon, followed by Tumse kya mangu main tum khud hi samjah l.
What better method to demonstrate that faith can sometimes outweigh scepticism.
8. Khwaja Mere Khwaja
Only if you know how to listen with your heart can you feel the heavenly force in this simple, yet profound melody.
9. Aas Paas Khuda
This is a lovely lesson to keep in mind on those days when crippling fear grabs you like nothing else.
Even if we don’t always realise it, the highest force is always watching over us and safeguarding us.
10. Maula Mere Lele
All religions are equal and should be treated with respect. Such a lovely message was delivered in such a lovely manner!
11. Aye Khuda
The consequences of separating oneself from the Almighty are described in this hymn.
The vocals compliment the song’s ambience and remind us of how chaotic life can become when we don’t have a higher force to believe in.
12. Bhar Do Jholi
Even when you believe you’re drowning in a sea of darkness, God is that final ray of hope.
Bhar do jholi isn’t just a song; it’s a healing approach that requires us to bow down before it. He is the one who saves us all.
13. Deva Shree Ganesha
Ajay-Atul once wrote a song with unwavering trust in their hearts, and it has since become the essence of melodies that bring us closer to God, transcending the divides between regions and religions.
14. Tajdar – e – Haram
When things went wrong, we made such a heartfelt plea to the monarch of God’s castle. This is where we find solace.
15. Noor e Khuda
When all hope is lost, the smallest of things can assist, and Noor e Khuda is the little ray of sunshine we all need in our life.
The scene with Shreya Ghoshal is therapeutic and rent-free in our heads.
16. Mere Nishaan
Kailash Kher’s wonderful song is simply right to delight your ears. This song has such a lovely way of finding its way into your heart.
17. Aye Khuda
Aye Khuda is an underappreciated song that should be on everyone’s playlist for the sole purpose of easing nerves.
18. Bhagwan Hai Kahan
We have looked for God in various forms over the years but have never found him. This song makes us believe that we are divided not by religion, but by religion itself.
