Bollywood movies releasing in November 2026
1. Ramayana: Part 1
Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the epic is the main Diwali release. Ranbir Kapoor plays Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash plays Ravana and Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman. Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh and Vivek Oberoi are also part of the cast. Namit Malhotra is the producer.
The date announcement came in early August 2026. Reports on the exact day differ slightly: Variety India reported that producer Namit Malhotra confirmed an international release on 6 November and an India release on 8 November, which is Diwali. Some outlets have described 6 November as a worldwide date. Part 2 has no confirmed date yet. For more on the cast and production, read our Ramayana Part 1 release date and cast guide.
Why watch: it is the year’s biggest-scale Hindi production, built for large-format screens.
2. Gunmaaster G9
Emraan Hashmi leads this action romance directed by Aditya Datt, with Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana. The film is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir, and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment. It is set for a worldwide release on 27 November.
The teaser came out in late August and shows Hashmi as a lover pulled into crime and violence. Hashmi and Datt have worked together before, on Aashiq Banaya Aapne.
Best for: fans of Emraan Hashmi’s romantic thrillers.
3. Yeh Prem Mol Liya
Sooraj R. Barjatya returns to romance with this Rajshri Productions film, made in association with Mahaveer Jain Films. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari play the leads. The title and the 27 November date were announced in April 2026.
Barjatya’s name is tied to family films such as Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun, and the title follows his habit of using “Prem” for the hero. This one shares its release day with Gunmaaster G9, so the two films will split audiences that weekend.
Best for: a family outing during the wedding season.

Bollywood movies releasing in December 2026
4. Eetha
Shraddha Kapoor plays Vithabai Narayangaonkar, the Marathi folk artist known for Lavani and Tamasha, in this biographical drama from Laxman Utekar, who directed Chhaava. Randeep Hooda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub are part of the cast. Utekar and Dinesh Vijan are among the producers.
The film was earlier slated for 28 August and moved to 4 December. According to The Hollywood Reporter India, the shift was made to avoid a clash with Yash’s Toxic.
Why watch: a rare mainstream Hindi film built around Lavani music and dance.
5. Untitled Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee film
Anees Bazmee, who directed Welcome and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, reunites with Akshay Kumar for a film that has not been titled yet. Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna are in the cast. It is listed for 4 December, the same day as Eetha.
Untitled films are more likely to shift, so treat this date as the least firm on the list until a title and trailer arrive.
Best for: viewers who want a comedy over the first December weekend.
6. Fauzi
Fauzi is a Telugu production, not a Bollywood film, but it matters for Hindi audiences because T-Series presents it and it opens worldwide on 3 December, a day before Eetha. Hanu Raghavapudi directs Prabhas, with Imanvi, Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada. Mythri Movie Makers is backing it.
Screen counts in Hindi-speaking states for the first week of December will depend on how Fauzi, Eetha and the Akshay Kumar film are spread across multiplex chains.
7. King
Shah Rukh Khan’s next film is set for 24 December. Siddharth Anand, who directed Pathaan, is the director, and the film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan are in the cast, with Abhishek reported as the main antagonist. King is also Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut.
The date was announced in January 2026 with a teaser on the third anniversary of Pathaan. King arrives a week after Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three, both dated 18 December, so the Christmas week box office will be crowded.
Why watch: Shah Rukh Khan’s first release since Dunki in 2023.
8. Shakti Shalini
This is the next film in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe, which includes Stree, Bhediya, Munjya and Thamma. Aditya Sarpotdar, who made Munjya, directs, and Dinesh Vijan produces. Aneet Padda, who broke out with Saiyaara, plays a double role as Shakti and Shalini. Viineet Kumar Siingh plays the antagonist, with Vishal Jethwa and Seema Biswas also in the cast.
It is also dated 24 December, the same day as King. A clash of this size is rare, so one of the two may yet move.
Best for: fans who follow the Stree and Munjya films.
Which weekends are crowded
- 8 November (Diwali): Ramayana: Part 1 is the main Hindi release of the festival weekend.
- 27 November: Gunmaaster G9 and Yeh Prem Mol Liya open together.
- 3 and 4 December: Fauzi, Eetha and the Akshay Kumar film arrive within two days.
- 18 December: two major Hollywood releases, Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three.
- 24 December: King and Shakti Shalini, followed by the Christmas and New Year holidays.
How to plan your theatre visits
- Book early for Ramayana and King. Advance booking for big releases usually opens a few days before release, and premium formats fill first.
- Pick weekday shows in the first week if you want better seats at lower prices than weekend evenings.
- Check the language and format before paying. Large releases often run in several languages and in 2D, 3D and premium screens at different rates.
- Keep an eye on date changes. Follow the production houses on social media, since shifts are announced there first.
Long theatre days also mean a lot of screen time once you are home and scrolling trailers. Some viewers keep a pair of blue-light glasses from Rawbare next to the laptop for late-night watching.
