This docuseries by Selvamani Selvaraj tracks the decades-long chase for the forest brigand Veerappan across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It includes people from both sides of the story, including former police officers and those close to him.

7. Curry and Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case (2023)

Directed by Christo Tomy, this film covers the case of Jolly Joseph in Kerala, accused of poisoning six members of her family over 14 years. The film uses interviews with investigators, family members and journalists to show how the deaths went unnoticed for years.
