Leaving childhood, now that we are progressing towards technologies that advance within a period of six months or less maybe, but we can never forget where we came from. Our roots have so much to do with what kind of product we will be when we’ll grow up. What we listened to, what we watched, and what we read, knit our souls and shaped who we are now.
Reminiscing, when a Twitter account asked people to recall these memories from childhood, it opened the floodgates to nostalgia.
From the yellow pages, fax machines, photo films to Dexter’s Laboratory, adults listed out all the things that defined their childhood.

No color TV. And only 6 channels. Period. And you had to wait for the tv to warm up. And shows stopped at the end of the day and there was no overnight programming. Not everyone had a tv. Wild, huh?

MTV was a thing and while it only played about a dozen videos of mediocre songs over and over, I would watch for hours every day.
