2. Honthon Mein Aisi Baat

Movie- Jewel Thief

Choreographed by Master Sohanlal, Honthon Mein Aisi Baat is one of the many representations of long shots in dance sequences being the brainchild of prominent director Vijay Anand.

With Vyjayanthimala’s impressive performance blended with the lyrics and direction of Vijay Anand, Honthon Mein Aisi Baat ascertains the dilemma that the complex character encounters.

3. Pinga

Movie- Bajirao Mastani

The complex relationship between Kashibai and Mastani lasts through the end of the film. While Kashibai and Mastani struggle to accept each other, Pinga, choreographed by Remo D’Souza, reflects a very mature side of the two characters.

The two characters go back to play their societal roles and become each other’s adversaries, the song shows some amount of sisterhood between the two.

4. Kahin Aag Lage

Movie– Taal

Another dance choreographed by Shiamak Davar, Kahin Aag Lage characterizes the heartbroken state of Mansi. It is said that somewhere amidst all the grief inside a human, there is hidden sorrow.

Being a simple girl belonging to a sheltered life, Mansi began to open up when she fell in love with Manav.

However, her ill-fated bond soon ended and Kahin Aag Lage illustrates her suffering and misery.

5. Main Aisa Kyun Hoon

Movie- Lakhshya

Farhan Akhtar’s movie Lakhshya follows the journey of Karan from living an aimless life to becoming an army officer.

Main Aisa Kyun Hoon tries to encapsulate that attitude of not knowing what to do with one’s life and feeling as if you are in a boat that is rowing without a destination in mind.

With Prabhu Deva’s choreography, Main Aisa Kyun Hoon is further enhanced by Hrithik Roshan’s terrific performance.

6. Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya

Movie- Mughal-e-Azam

Anarkali and Prince Salim’s love story has become folklore as time passes. Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya expresses Anarkali’s courage to accept her love for Salim.

Enriched with Lata Mangeshkar’s melodious voice and Madhubala’s ethereal enactment, Mughal-e-Azam was strengthened with both its plot and dance progressions.

7. Woh Ladhki Hai Kahan

Movie- Dil Chahta Hai

Farhan Akhtar has the magic to use music and dance to add significance to the plot.

Coupled with Farah Khan’s choreography, Woh Ladhki Hai Kahan is a memorable dance sequence owing to Farhan Akhtar’s remarkable direction and incredible vision.

8. Chunar

Movie– ABCD 2

One of the most beautiful dance sequences from precisely the movie centered around dancing, Chunar was defined by Varun Dhawan as one of the hardest songs he worked on.

Chunar captures the guilt and regret Suresh feels after he is caught imitating someone else’s choreography. It is Suresh’s way of apologizing to his mother for the enormous mistake he made.

9. Dhoom Again

Movie- Dhoom 2

Dhoom Again needs no introduction owing to the fan following it gained after Dhoom 2 was released.

Hrithik Roshan’s smooth dance moves show the complex relationship between Sunheri and Aryan while Jai tries to catch Aryan.
