What is Gullak about?
Gullak is the story of the Mishra family: father Santosh, mother Shanti, and their two sons, Annu and Aman. They live in a small town, deal with nosy neighbours, small debts and big dreams, and argue about everything. The story is narrated by the family’s piggy bank, the gullak, voiced by Shivankit Singh Parihar.

Season 1, written by Nikhil Vijay and directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, drew positive reviews for its gentle, nostalgic tone. Season 2 got a more mixed response. Season 3 kept the same writer and director team as Season 2, Durgesh Singh and Palash Vaswani, but gave the story more weight.
