It’s crucial to note that nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but a source has apparently told culture blog, Deux Moi, that, after being on-again, off-again for a while, the couple has now split up for good.
There’s been some conjecture in recent weeks that they may have put their romance on hold due to their hectic, incompatible schedules. According to The Sun, Dua Lipa is presently based in London and Los Angeles, working on new music, while Hadid remains in New York. “The couple discussed the idea of putting the brakes on their romance last month as travelling so much and being apart is proving difficult,” a source allegedly told the paper. “Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks.”

The reports began when an anonymous source said in a direct message to celebrity gossip Instagram account Deux Moi that they had “100% broken up. “According to The Sun, Dua Lipa and Anwar’s relationship was in “crisis” mode as a result of their hectic work schedules, so they decided to take a break. “Last month, the couple discussed putting the brakes on their romance because travelling so much and being apart is becoming difficult,” a source told the publication.
In recent weeks, it was noticed that the couple had stopped posting to each other. In fact, Anwar’s last photo with Dua was shared in November 2021. While not posting your partner on social media isn’t necessarily a cause for concern, given these recent reports, it all seems to add up.
Fans were shocked by the alleged split, considering they served all of the couple’s aims during the lockdowns in 2020. They moved to Hadid’s family farm, where they spent time with Bella and Gigi Hadid, his supermodel sisters. They also shared photos of Dua Lipa dyeing her hair, having fun outside, and posing for some very strong pair photoshoots.
