The most badass dialogues from Suits mostly belong to Harvey Specter: “I don’t have dreams, I have goals” and “I don’t play the odds, I play the man”. Donna and Louis have classics too. Suits ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019 and streams in India on JioHotstar, Netflix and Prime Video.
Suits found a huge new audience when it landed on Netflix in 2023, and its lines about winning, loyalty and confidence still circulate as motivation posts. We have refreshed this list for 2026. Earlier versions of it, like many Suits lists online, included quotes that never appeared in the show, so we have replaced those with real lines and added who says each one and when.

Why Harvey Specter gets the best lines
Gabriel Macht played Harvey as a closer who never shows doubt in public, and the writers gave him short, quotable answers for every situation. The show’s mix of legal cases, office politics and loyalty kept those lines grounded. For more TV and film dialogue lists, check our series section and Hollywood coverage.
Lines we removed from older lists
“Failure is a bruise, not a tattoo” and “Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument” are often shared as Suits quotes, but they come from other sources. The second is commonly credited to Archbishop Desmond Tutu. We have left them out of this list.
