P. S. Mithran directs again. Karthi plays a dual role as the spy Sardar and his son Vijay, while S. J. Suryah plays the villain Black Dagger. Malavika Mohanan plays Agent Zara. If you liked the 2022 film, this one picks up its parallel timelines and adds a bigger global plot.
2. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit (Malayalam) on JioHotstar
This romantic comedy from Premalu director Girish A.D. arrived on JioHotstar on October 2. Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju play Justin and Ashley, two people whose families stand against their relationship because of their age gap.
Ashley is a college student in Ernakulam, and Justin runs a catering business next door. Their families get involved, and much of the comedy comes from there. Sangeeth Prathap and Vinay Forrt are also in the cast. The film was one of the biggest Malayalam theatrical hits of 2026, so this is the pick of the month for family viewing.

Vikram Singh Chauhan also features.
6. Mandaadi (Tamil) on Netflix
Soori plays Muthukaali in this sports action drama about a former sailboat racer who returns home and gets pulled into an old rivalry. Telugu actor Suhas makes his Tamil debut as the rival, with Mahima Nambiar and Sathyaraj in support. Mathimaran Pugazhendhi directs.
