This year The Dark Knight Rises will complete a decade of its release. Since then, the character of Batman appeared every now and then, notably in Justice League with Ben Affleck in the role.
Christopher Nolan’s trilogy became fan favorite with Christian Bale as Batman and of course, the late actor Heath Ledger playing the role of Joker.
Nolan has given us once-in-a-lifetime creations– Inception, Memento, and Tenet to name a few. It is difficult to be able to match up to this director when it comes to the script so there was a guessing game amongst the fans about the script of The Batman.
With the announcement of a standalone film starring Robert Pattinson as Batman, fans once again went crazy and soon the film became highly anticipated with the shady trailer and many new secrets waiting to be discovered.
The young-adult vampire series actor demonstrated a new angle of his potential right from the teaser.
The trailer and teaser itself gave every reason to the audience to expect a different batman and the dialogue “vengeance” gained immense popularity.
Coming to the performance initially as it is one of the most vital factors in the world of DC, Robert Pattinson did justice to his character. The true essence required for this movie was offered by him and fans are already calling it the best Batman film ever since the release of Dark Knight.
Of course, it also has to do with the direction and scriptwriting. The three hours long venture into the dark side of the vigilante is a great treat for the fans and the plot has the complexity to keep you hooked to the screen the entire time.
As a director, Matt Reeves was victorious in portraying the dark detective drama crafting a dense as well as intense story flooded with a masterpiece of cinematography.
Zoe Kravitz also received huge acclaim from the fans and she did perform a wonderful job of acting as Catwoman. It is very clear right from the beginning that fans won’t be disappointed with this wonderful creation but you should expect the story to take you to the roots of the Caped Crusader.
The story set in Gotham city follows the second year of Batman in his vigilantism so Bruce Wayne has been Batman for two years only.
This is an interesting and important point to keep in mind when you go to watch the film. It obviously has a major role as the antagonist Riddler and Batman has to reluctantly join hands with the enigmatic Catwoman to delve into the dark secrets that might open his own family’s past.
With the wide guesses accompanying the movie and the little amount of plot indicated in the trailer, it is hard to explore more about the film without spoiling it.
All in all, the movie is great backed with a wonderful cast and strong story, and will give you the darkest knight ever as the secret unfolds.
