Dimple goes after the data leak
Dimple Ahuja (Prajakta Koli) spends much of the episode trying to find out who leaked her data. At the same time she is stuck on her app, which she still has no clear idea for.

The pressure shows. The episode makes it clear that Dimple is having frequent panic attacks, driven by the fear that she is wasting her family’s money on a programme she might not finish. It is one of the more honest portrayals of student anxiety in an Indian campus show.
Rishi’s big announcement
Rishi Singh Shekhawat (Rohit Saraf) is not doing well either. His mother is moving on with her life, and his relationship with his father is strained.
To protect Namrata Bidasaria (Devyani Shorey), whose parents are pushing back hard on a part of her life she has kept private, Rishi publicly claims that he and Namrata are in love and plan to marry. Their bond is purely platonic, and the move solves one problem while creating several new ones.
Rishi and Dimple clash
Rishi sees Dimple with Harsh Agarwal (Vihaan Samat) and takes it badly. In a bitter moment he reminds her that her app is still unfinished and that her parents are paying for it. The line hurts because it hits her biggest fear.
Dimple and Namrata, meanwhile, settle an earlier disagreement, which gives the episode one of its few warm moments.
Zeenat, Sid and Anmol
Professor Zeenat Karim (Vidya Malvade) invites Professor Sid (Rannvijay Singha) to her home for a home-cooked meal, a small step in their slow-burning story. Anmol Malhotra (Taaruk Raina) discovers something that tests his trust in someone close to him, setting up conflict for later episodes.
Namrata and Ayesha
The episode also builds the closeness between Namrata and Ayesha Duggirala (Priya Banerjee). The show treats Namrata’s story as part of who she is, not as a joke or a twist, which our original review counted as one of the season’s strengths.
What works and what does not
What works: Gazal Dhaliwal’s dialogue sounds like real college students. The episode touches on class, as students from middle-class homes try to fit in with richer batchmates, and on the money pressure many Indian students carry. Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf still have strong chemistry even when their characters are fighting.
What does not: The direction is flat in places, and some of the side tracks are rushed. A few emotional scenes needed more room, especially in Namrata’s storyline.
How Episode 3 sets up the rest of the season
The episode title works on two levels. Rishi and Dimple have plenty of reasons to be angry with each other, and the episode lists them through small fights rather than one big break-up scene. By the end, the audience knows the rest of the season will be about whether they can get past those reasons.
It also plants several open threads. The data leak, Rishi’s public claim about Namrata, Anmol’s discovery and Zeenat’s dinner with Sid all carry into the next five episodes. If you skipped this one, the second half of the season will feel confusing.
Should you watch it?
Yes, if you enjoyed Season 1. Episode 3 is where Season 2 stops reintroducing characters and starts testing them. Viewers who came for light romance may find it heavier than expected, because it spends more time on anxiety, money and family pressure than on cute moments.
